May

- "Bread
for the Journey: The Arts and Spiritual Wholeness"
Spring Retreat. What is it that sustains folks in
the midst of life's demands? For many, creativity
is a spiritual experience through which discovery and recovery
take place. This third annual retreat on spirituality
and the arts will explore these themes and provide a context
for hands-on creativity.
May
27-30, 2004
- "Seeing
the Big Picture" is the conference theme that offers
collegiates the opportunity to examine other world religions,
consider what Christians believe, and develop the tools
to communicate their faith effectively as they work toward
reconciliation.
May
31-June 4, 2004
-
"The Cost of Discipleship: Faith, Money and Possessions"
is the stewardship theme of this year's Reclaiming the Text
conference. "Text" is the thing that mediates
to us a voice other than our own. It is a critical
time for the faith community to return to the text in understanding
our use of money and possessions. Stewardship is urgent
because our corporate and consumer values threaten to drown
out our deeper calling to be faithful stewards of all of
life's gifts.
