Pittsburgh Theological Seminary is offering a church educatiors' certification course,
Hum an Development: Christian Education and Stages of Faith with Rebecca Cole-Turner, Ph.D.,
counselor educator, spiritual director, retreat facilitator, and writer,
from October 29 through November 2, 2007 on the PTS campus.
Church educators will be introduced to stages of human development as they relate to faith development. Particular attention will be paid to multi-cultural perspectives and life-span development within the context of faith.
Registrants will also participate in "Journey Inward, Journey Outward' workshop on November 2 from 9 am - 3pm. Learn to recognize and trust your artistic soul side as a way of thinking and living that will create space for your inner needs and your outward work. This ongoing series of workshops provides opportunities for all who direct education in local congregations to grow both spiritually and professionally, in order to serve more effectively in their home church settings.
Keynote speaker, Nancy T. Foltz, is a Christian Educator as
well as a management consultant both to religious
organizations and to large corporations.
