Communicators Partnership to Hold Spring Meeting May 14-15
in Pittsburgh, PA
The
Office of Communication of the General Assembly Council
has announced its plans to participate in the spring meeting
of the Presbyterian Communicators Partnership (PCP).
The meeting will begin at noon on Friday, May 14 and end
at noon on Saturday, May 15. It will be held at the
new* office location of the Pittsburgh Presbytery office
and Presbyterian Media Mission - 901 Allegheny Avenue, Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania.
A
full agenda is planned, including: a tour of Pittsburgh
Presbytery's new offices, sharing time between governing
body offices, an update on the work of Presbyterian Media
Mission, a session on "Relationship Marketing,"
a presentation by Sam Newbury from Family Communications,
Inc., on the next steps for "Mister Roger's Neighborhood,"
conversations about launching "The Communicators' Network"
in 2005, and a 2004 General Assembly update.
Special
hotel rates have been arranged for at the Pittsburgh Hotel
Renaissance, 107 Sixth Street, Pittsburgh, PA (412-562-1200).
The special rate is $139/night/single or $159/night/double.
The hotel reservation deadline is April 16,
so please make your reservation by that date to receive
the special PCP rates.
