Grants for 2009 are still available from the Synod of the Trinity's Self-Development of People Committee due to a late summer infusion from the National Self-Development of People Committee. If your group is within the bounds of the Synod and is oppressed by poverty or social systems and you want to take charge of their own lives, apply today! Partnerships are initiated by proposals to the Synod's SDOP Committee and are evaluated by its funding criteria. Annually, the Synod funds approximately $65,000 for SDOP projects working within its boundaries. Funding comes from the One Great Hour of Sharing offering.
