Lancaster Theological Seminary offers various programs

Lancaster Theological Seminary is a creative resource, supporting and complementing the work of the Synod and presbyteries in their mission, especially in theological education and spiritual growth of ministerial students, lay persons, and pastors.  A number of their programs complement our efforts and have been especially supportive for local pastors and lay persons.   The following are some of their many resources:

Summer Academy (June 26-30 and July 10-14) - whole person theological education, embracing mind, body, spirit, and the arts, for lay persons, pastors, and church leaders.  They provide a 50% tuition scholarship for pastors and may have some resources for room and board. For more information, click here.
Ministerial formation programs for recently ordained pastors in their first call; experienced pastors (more than 5 years); and pastors considering retirement and hoping to conclude their ministries with vigor and vision.
Congregational adult education resources and programs - multi-church programs in areas such as the Psalms, the ministry of Jesus, healings of Jesus, Creation and Eschatology, the problem of suffering, that can be used by groups in individual congregations.
Lectures - Lectures are at 11 a.m. in Santee Chapel unless otherwise noted and are open to the public at no charge.  Click the link for upcoming events.

Lancaster Theological Seminary provides an excellent resource to Presbyterian lay persons, pastors, and judicatory officials.   For details and more information, click on Lancaster Theological Seminary.
