The Presbytery of Redstone is seeking a Stated Clerk to be presented to the Presbytery of Redstone on May 16, 2006 for election to a 3-year term.  This position will begin on September 1, 2006.  We are in the process of finding a successor to our current long-tenured Stated Clerk, Mary Ellen Lawson, who will be retiring on September 1, 2006.  The Stated Clerk Position Description is available here.

If you are interested or would know someone who might be interested in applying for this position, we encourage you to do so.  It is our hope that the time between June 1st and August 31st (with an hourly stipend) would be a time of training.  It is hoped that the Stated Clerk-elect will be available to attend the General Assembly Meeting in Birmingham, Alabama on June 15 – 22, 2006, at the presbytery’s expense.
