"A Pastor's Sabbath"

For the very first time, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is sponsoring a retreat for pastors actively serving PC(USA) congregations. The adult retreat, "A Pastor's Sabbath", will allow participants to choose their own path of Sabbath time with ample time for rest, recreation, organized gatherings and spontaneous conversation.  Based on the scripture Mark 6:30, "Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest awhile", the program will include daily study led by keynote speaker, the Rev. Dr. Walter Brueggemann, and worship with retreat leaders including the Rev. Dr. Barbara Brown Taylor, the Rev. Dr. James Forbes, and the Rev. Dr. Tony Campolo.  Held at Snowbird Resort in the beautiful Watsash Mountains of Utah (near Salt Lake City), the retreat promises a time of renewal and refreshment for our pastors.
