2008 Youth Mission Weeks announced June & July in the Gulf |
In response to requests for additional youth weeks, Presbyterian Disaster  Assistance has scheduled weeks throughout June and July especially for youth to participate in the Presbyterian Volunteer Village experience. Youth weeks will include work in the community and may include rebuilding or cleaning, such as cleaning up a park or painting homes. There may also be opportunities to assist local churches with Vacation Bible School or other activities — being a witness in the community and helping the church grow. Youth aged 16 years and older may attend weeks from June 22 - July 27, 2008.

Father and Son Weeks will be June 8-15 and June 15-21 and is open to any male 14 years and older with or without a father. It is not necessary to be part of an organized group as clusters will be created and leaders assigned for responsibilities within the village. |
