I am extremely grateful for the missions grant that has assisted me with my work in Livingstone, Zambia this past summer. God uses abundantly everything that you put forward for Him to use for His purposes. So thank you for your involvement in seeing the nations reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I wanted to share some of the things that you as a member of the body of Christ have been a part of. For six weeks I worked alongside Overland Missions as they inhabited pure bush and began to transform it into a campsite and eventually permanent lodge to house full time missionaries in that region. But the part I am most excited about is the discipling of the churches in the surrounding villages as we worked alongside the indigenous pastors. I have had many opportunities to preach to crowds and villages who are just getting acquainted with this teaching that transforms people’s lives, sometimes preaching twice a day. Some of the villages did not have a church of their own, so we would gather and hold meetings under trees and preach the Word and lead the people into worship, some for the first time. I also had the opportunity to speak at a women’s conference where those who are treated and lead to believe that they are worthless and inferior in the society could be told how much God sees inside of them and the value that He places over their lives. There’s nothing like a woman sharing her heart with a woman.

God transforms lives. I am overwhelmed by God’s mercy, power, and favor that He places over His people. I still stand in awe as I reflect on His divine inspiration and instantaneous healings that He would perform as we ministered alongside Him. I do not think I could ever see Him or His people the same again. I’ve seen Jehova Rapha.
