The Synod of Trinity & The Hanmaum Korean Presbyterian Church of Williamsport helped my daughter Anna & I to accompany the group from Williamsport Presbyterian & Methodist churches to Hogar Renacer orphanage in Cofradia near Tegucigalpa, Honduras, for the third year. The 50 or so kids there were so glad to see us again, I wish we could have stayed longer. They really enjoy the attention. We held Vacation Bible School (with interpreters when necessary) for all the kids around, not just the orphanage kids. Puppet shows, building maintenance and improvement, Korean folk dance, and playing (and loving) the kids was our goal on this trip. The language barrier (English, Spanish, Korean) was broken down through the games we played, the laughter we shared, but most importantly, the hugs and love that was given so freely by all.
God bless them all, God bless you for helping us travel, and, if you can, please join us next year.
