Applications Available for 2006-2007
Are you a high school senior heading off to college in the fall or a current college student? Or maybe you're a graduate student studying for the ministry or a full-time church vocation? Then it's time to investigate and apply for one of our Synod of the Trinity Scholarships for the 2006-2007 academic year. For the academic year of 2005-2006, the
Synod of the Trinity awarded over $140,00 0 to undergraduate students. 299 deserving students
received one of our 3 undergraduate scholarships: the Synod of the Trinity Educational Scholarship, the Racial Ethnic Educational Scholarship, or the Rusch-Shepard
Educational Scholarship. A few of the 79 colleges where our awardees are attending include: Columbia University, Muskingum College,University of Pittsburgh, Kent State University, Howard University, West Virginia University, LaSalle University, Drexel University, Sarah Lawrence College, Kutztown University, Messiah College, Northeastern University, and our seven Synod-related colleges: Arcadia, Davis & Elkins, Grove City, Lafayette, Waynesburg, Westminster, and Wilson.
14 graduate students pursuing ministerial and/or full-time church-related vocations were the recipients of $25,000 in funding from the Mary Meade Maxwell Scholarship and/or the Mary L. Clark
Grant.
