Are you a high school senior heading off to college in the fall or currently a college student? Maybe you're a graduate student studying for the ministry or a full-time church vocation. Either way, it's time to apply for one of our Synod of the Trinity Scholarships for the 2007-2008 academic year. Our undergraduate and graduate applications with requirements are available by downloading and printing, by calling our Synod Office at 800-242-0534, ext. 233, by emailing Marcia Humer, or by clicking here for our electronic undergraduate application. For the academic year of 2006-2007, the
Synod of the Trinity awarded over $130,000 to undergraduate students. Deserving students
received one of our three undergraduate scholarships:
Synod of the Trinity Educational Scholarship,
Racial Ethnic Educational Scholarship, or
Rusch-Shepard
Educational Scholarship.
A few of the colleges where our awardees are attending include: Columbia University, Muskingum College,University of Pittsburgh, Kent State University, Howard University, West Virginia University, LaSalle University, Drexel University, Sarah Lawrence College, Kutztown University, Messiah College, Northeastern University, and our seven Synod-related colleges: Arcadia, Davis & Elkins, Grove City, Lafayette, Waynesburg, Westminster, and Wilson.
Nine graduate students pursuing ministerial and/or full-time church-related vocations were the recipients of $23,000 in funding from the Mary Meade Maxwell Scholarship and/or the Mary L. Clark
Grant.
