2009-2010 Educational Scholarship Applications available

Are you a high school senior heading off to college in the fall or currently a college student? Maybe you're a graduate student studying for the ministry or a ful l-time church vocation. Now is the time to apply for one of our Synod of the Trinity Scholarships for the 2009-2010 academic year. Our undergraduate and graduate applications with requirements are available by downloading and printing, by calling our Synod Office at 800-242-0534, ext. 233, by emailing Marcia Humer, or by checking here in mid-January for our electronic undergraduate application. For the academic year of 2008-2009, the
Synod of the Trinity awarded over $100,000 to undergraduate students. Deserving students
received one of our three undergraduate scholarships:
Racial Ethnic Educational Scholarship,
Synod of the Trinity Educational Scholarship,or
Rusch-Shepard
Educational Scholarship.
A few of the colleges where our awardees are attending include Arcadia College, Columbia University, Drexel University, Grove City College, Howard University, LaSalle University, Messiah College, Muskingum College, Northeastern University,Penn State University Waynesburg University, Westminster College, West Virginia University and Wilson College
Eleven graduate students pursuing ministerial and/or full-time church-related vocations were the recipients over $23,000 in funding from the Mary Meade Maxwell Scholarship and/or the Mary L. Clark
Grant.
