The Synod of the Trinity is pleased to announce that in 2008 there were 228 scholarships awarded to undergraduate students and 25 to graduate students totaling more than $126,000.
More than 500 applications were submitted to the Grants and Scholarship Review Committee who offered undergraduate funds to financially support our Presbyterian students, those of ethnicity, and those attending one of our seven Synod-related
institutions. For the academic year 2008-2009, there were 67 freshman, 59 sophomores, 45 juniors and 57 seniors who received grants ranging from $400 to $500 for the full academic year. Following are our 3 undergraduate applications for the 2009-2010 academic year:
Application forms are now available to download and submit.
Mary Meade Maxwell Fund and the Mary L. Clark Grant are designed for graduate students pursuing ministerial and/or full-time church-related vocations. This year 25 awards were granted to 11 deserving students. Click for our 2009-2010 application.
The Synod is very proud to be a small part of these students' educational life and goals. If you know of a high school senior, college student, or post-graduate student, please encourage them to investigate and apply for our scholarships for the 2009-2010 academic year. Applications and guidelines are now available to download or by calling Marcia Humer at our Synod office (800-242-0534, ext. 233) or via email at scholarships@syntrinity.org. Our eApp (online submission for undergraduate application) will be available no later than Jan 15, 2009.
Postmarked deadline is April 30, 2009 for all materials for all educational scholarships.
