How could we not BE in Mission? |
Inspirational speaker, Rev. Dr. Charles "Buz" Myers, will be our Bible Study and Worship leader for the week assisted by Curtis Jones, Ed Gray, Warren Cooper and Arnie Brock. Plenary sessions and worship services will consider the life and teaching of Jesus as the basis for our understanding of what it means to be in Mission. We will begin by recalling the foundation of our faith, the death and resurrection of Jesus, and by celebrating our unity through the Lord's Supper. We will then look at examples of love and grace in some of the most popular parables of Jesus. Finally, we will consider Christian Mission as a logical outgrowth of the love of God that we have received. A wide array of mission projects & workshops will complement our times of study and worship. Please bring your Bibles and your work clothes and be ready to be challenged and edified. The whole family will enjoy this "hands-on" Experience and Celebration!
