Wayne Allen to Serve as Acting Synod Executive

The Personnel Committee of the Synod of the Trinity has employed the Rev. Wayne Allen to serve as Acting Synod Executive during the month of November until the newly elected Co-Executives, Rev. Dr. Bruce Stevens and Rev. Dr. Tom Robinson, begin their service on December 1.

Wayne is well known to many persons within the Synod.  He has served on the Synod staff in a number of different capacities in the past.  He was the Associate Executive of the Synod from 1983 until 1988.  From 1988 to 1993, he was the Associate Director of the Office of the General Assembly in Louisville, Kentucky.  Since that time, he has fulfilled several interim and short-term contracts with the Synod.

The Synod of the Trinity is indeed fortunate that Wayne has agreed to carry out yet one more responsibility with the Synod.
