Second PCSecond Presbyterian Church of Oil City hosted 22 young adults who are on a 4,000-plus-mile bike trek across the country. These cyclists stayed at the church building overnight June 10-11 and were fed supper and breakfast by members of the congregation.

Team Seattle is one of four groups riding coast-to-coast to raise awareness and money for patients and families who have been touched by cancer, with a special emphasis on young adults affected by the disease. At the Friday night program and the Saturday morning dedication service before the riders departed, stories were told by each host and guest of people for whom that day’s ride would be dedicated.

People can “ride along” the 70-day journey by following the Ulman Cancer Fund on social media and www.4KforCancer.org.
