Crestfield Camp and Conference Center in Slippery Rock, PA, will hold a three-day, two-night retreat specifically for leaders in the areas of next-generation ministry (children, youth and young adult) from Jan. 29-31.
This Next Gen Leader Retreat titled “Leader Connect” will provide Next Gen leaders in the region with a time of respite and renewal at the start of the new year. The retreat is a time for leaders to connect with one another, worship together and be refreshed through play, fellowship, inspiration and rest.
The speaker this year, the Rev. Timothy Spring, is currently the interim pastor at Oakmont Presbyterian Church. Pastor Tim, a long-time, beloved pastor at his former church in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, has decades of pastoral experience and a real passion for the next generation.
This year’s music will be led by J Freyer, and activities will include: Focused Input sessions with the Rev. Brian Wallace, 1:1 pastoral sessions with both the Rev. Sharon Stewart and the Rev. Tim, book discussion groups and more.
