In what other capacity have you served in the past (former churches, committees, etc.)?: Liaison for a ministerial candidate

When you’re not serving your church, what can you be found doing?: As a retired English teacher, I edit and post my husband’s research blog about church turnaround for churchcentral.com.

Describe yourself in one word: enthusiastic

What was your childhood dream job?: School teacher (which I performed for 34 years )

What steered you into this ministry field?: Encouragement from church and presbytery folks

What goals do you have while serving as commissioner?: Serving the Lord as the Spirit leads

Why do you feel God has called you into this position of commissioner?: I am a good listener, and I have a knowledge base about church turnaround and evangelism.

Any closing remarks?: As one expert has said: “The church is the most powerful transforming force in history.”
