All told, eight of the 11 overtures/resolutions coming from the Synod were discussed today.

Hands-On Mission Work Group of the Presbytery of Detroit looks forward to welcoming mission work groups during the summer or for an alternative-break week during the school year.

When we take collective action in some areas, it is not always (nor should be) a reflection of something upon which we all agree.

If we bring all that we are, our honesty, our past, our humor, our imagination and our love of Jesus, committee time can be holy time.

All in all, it was a busy, but productive full day of committee discussions and deliberations.

From now on when I stay in a hotel, I will sleep in my clothes.
